Community Standards

Envite is a space for exploration. We cherish authenticity, spontaneity, and kindness and are delighted to provide a platform that enables users like you to get down and boogie with your friends. Our goal is for Envite to be a platform where friends can organise and plan events together, and breaking these guidelines wouldn’t be very friendly now.

Our Community Guidelines are structured to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our users. They are a significant part of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, known as the “User Agreement”. If you disagree with any part of the User Agreement, including the Community Guidelines, then Envite may not be the right fit for you.

The Community Guidelines are a roadmap for respect and decency towards others. In essence, if you wouldn’t appreciate a specific behaviour directed at you on Envite, it’s likely a violation of the Community Guidelines. To clarify, here’s a breakdown:

Bullying, Abuse, and Harassment: Content that is or aims to bully, abuse, or harass people, regardless of whether they’re users or non-users, is not allowed.

Child Sexual Exploitation: Any content containing or promoting child sexual exploitation is strictly prohibited, and Envite will not tolerate it.

Hateful Content: Content expressing hatred towards individuals or organisations is not permitted.

Illegal Activity: Sharing content that promotes or instigates illegal activities is prohibited.

Intellectual Property: Sharing content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others is not allowed.

Non-Consensual Nudity: Content containing or encouraging non-consensual nudity is strictly forbidden, and Envite has a zero-tolerance policy.

Non-Public Personal Information: Content that discloses other people’s non-public personal information without their consent is prohibited.

Suicide and Self-Harm: Content that glorifies, encourages, or promotes suicide or self-harm is prohibited.

Violent Content: Content that threatens, incites, glorifies, or expresses a desire for violence or harm is prohibited.

How to Report

Violations of these Community Guidelines can be reported directly through the reporting tools within the Envite app or via our online form here. The Envite Support Team will review the report and respond as necessary. We may use your contact information, such as your username, full name, and email address, to get in touch with you.

Suppose you’re not using the reporting tools within the Envite app. In that case, taking a screenshot of the content or account that you believe violates the Community Guidelines is recommended.

What Happens After Reporting?

Any behaviour, activity, or content believed to violate the Community Guidelines may be subjected to temporary or permanent sanctions.

At our discretion, we reserve the right to monitor content and app usage at any time to ensure adherence to the Community Guidelines and Terms of Use. Our decision on whether a violation of the Community Guidelines has occurred is final. However, if you maintain compliance with the Community Guidelines, these situations should be rare.

Still, if you believe a decision made against you is unjust, you can challenge it by emailing us at: heretohelp@envite.social.

That’s all for now. Keep on dancing!
